Sim Cheong's character seems to be well thought out in the sense that there are many foreign concepts to her such as how the hotel key card activates the light and water in the hotel room and they really exploit the opportunity to make it comedic and it’s very clever.

Also not me questioning how the computer 💻 doesn’t run out of battery 🔋 throughout the night 😂

The Legend of the Blue Sea was my first K-drama that was recommended to me by my grandmother and so I do have a soft spot for it. It does contain quite an interesting plotline mixed with comedic moments and great actors and actresses. Compared to other K-dramas it isn't the top but it is definitely something to put on your watchlist if you enjoy a mix of the Joseon era and modern life as well as fantasy.
